Day 1   Arrival at Queen Alia airport in Amman.

 After arrival at the airport in Amman, our representative will meet & assist you with the visa & customs formalities, which usually  needs not more than ½ an hour. Transfer to the hotel in Amman, which takes about 45 minutes. After arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner & overnight.

 

Day 2   City tour in Amman – Jerash.

After breakfast, we will make a city tour by visiting the old and the modern parts of Amman. We will visit the citadel with the archaeological museum, as well as the well perceived Roman theatre. After that we will go to visit Jerash, the most well preserved Roman city from the Roman world. The colonnaded street, large Roman  theatres and churches will tell us the commercial history of this town. Return trip to Amman, dinners & overnight.

 

Day 3   Amman - Wadi Bin Hammad – Petra.

Today we leave Amman toward Petra, on the way we will visit Wadi Bin Hammad. Wadi Bin Hammad is a ravine developed in the mountains before millions years by seismic forces. In this ravine a small river flow which rises out of hot springs and from it develops beautiful colors and a magical landscape, which is very rich with a fascinated Botanic world. Finally, after the sightseeing, proceed to Petra. Dinner & overnight.

 

 Day 4   The antique city of Petra (the 2nd World Wonder).

Put on some firm shoes today, because a full day sightseeing of Petra is in your program. Experience this impressive and unique Nabatean city, "a true wonderwork"! We pass the 1,2km famous "Siq"  (gorge) on foot and see the impressive, from red-rose sandstone curved 40m high Treasury "Al Khazna". Admire hundreds of buildings, Façades, Tombs, Baths, Temples and unforgettable stone drawings - Petra extends on a total area of approx. 40qkm. Dinner & overnight.

 

Day 5   Petra.

After breakfast we will go a head in discovering the Rose Red city of Petra. After about 3 hours from the main entrance we will reach  the Alter and the obelisks of "Zip Attuf" and "Zip Firon", where the Nabateans probably were scarifying their sacrifices. From the summit of "Zip Attuf" we will have a beautiful view over the antique cityof Petra. After a short pause we will rise again off over Wadi  Faraseh toward the center of the city. The afternoon is free for  you. Return back from the Siq. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6   Petra - Wadi Rum.

After breakfast we will leave Petra to Wadi Rum, the desert valley of the Bedouins, which is surrounded by brown-red, fissured and torn mountain courses. At Wadi Rum we will make either a short Jeep safari tour or a short  trek, both of them leads us to the impressing desert places like "Ein Lawrence" and "Jabal Khaza'ali". There we will have a small  pause, in order to take our lunch. Afterwards we will continue moving to our sleeping place.

            

Day 7   Wadi Rum.

After the breakfast we will move in the breath-taking valley of Wadi Rum to our sleeping place, in our way we will visit the most attractive monuments and mountains. Dinner & Overnight.

 

Day 8   Wadi Rum - Aqaba – Dead Sea.

After breakfast we will go in a half day visit to city of Aqaba for shopping. Finally, we will go back to the Dead Sea across Wadi  Araba. Dinner & overnight.

 

Day 9   Dead Sea- Wadi Al Mujib- Dead Sea.

 After breakfast, we will drive to Wadi al Mujib (Arnon valley), which offers us a wonderful and breath-taking panoramic view, and motivate us to make a short trek in one of its canyons. After this fascinating prospect we will go back to the Dead Sea where we will enjoy the swimming and sun bathing at the lowest point on the earth. Dinner and Overnight.

            

Day 10   Dead Sea – Bethany - Mt. Nebo – Madaba - Dead Sea.

After breakfast we will drive toward early Christian places like: Bethany, Madaba, and Mt. Nebo. We will begin with, the Baptism site " Beyond the Jordan" where Jesus was baptized, has long been known from the Bible (John 1:28 and 10:40) and from the Byzantine and medieval texts, Then drive to the Mt. Nebo, where Moses saw for the first time the "promised Land". On a clear summer day you can see  mountains of Jerusalem; at the end we will go to Madaba, where we  will visit the unique mosaic map of Palestine and the holy land from the 6th century AD in the George's church. Then we will go to Amman  to spend the last night in a hotel. Dinner and overnight.

            

Day 11   Return back home.

Unfortunately, it goes back home today, we hope, that you enjoyed an unforgettable journey with us. Transfer to the airport in Amman, our   representative takes over again the departure and customs  formalities and says goodbye to you.
